  • Joseph Gordon-Levitt joins DiCaprio for Christopher Nolan’s Inception

    By | April 24, 2009

Joseph Gordon-Levitt best know for staring in Brick, and the television show 3rd Rock from the Sun, is joining Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cottilard, Ellen Page and Cillian Murphy for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming contemporary sci-fi action-thriller Inception.

James Franco was originally cast to play Gordon-Levitt’s character but he dropped out due to scheduling issues. At this time not much is known about Nolan’s self written film other than it being set within “the architecture of the mind.”

Gordon-Levitt has a full slate for 2009 with the Sundance buzzed romantic comedy 500 Days of Summer due this summer, and his biggest role yet as the evil and demented serpent sounding villain Cobra Commander in the summer blockbuster G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra opening on August 7th 2009.

Inception will begin shooting this summer for a 2010 release.
