    Two sequels, one winner.

    During the Memorial Day four-day weekend, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian gained an estimated $70 million on approx. 7,000 screens in 4,096 theaters, while Terminator Salvation saw an estimated $53.8 million on 6,400 screens in 3,530 theaters. If you include it’s Thursday opening, Terminator Salvation comes in with a total of $67.2 million.  The total four-day holiday weekend business was $224 million, up a small amount from last year where Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull opened.
