Kick-Ass Finds A Distributor
By Dave Campbell | August 18, 2009

Just a little over a week ago we were talking about the studios battle over who would win out as the distributor of Matthew Vaughn’s independently produced Kick-Ass?!?
Well, the film has finally landed a US distributor with Lionsgate, how has committed to a nationwide 2010 release.
For those of you who missed the last story:
Based on the Mark Millar comic, Kick-Ass follows teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) who is inspired himself by comic books and decides to become a self made superhero named Kick-Ass. He embeds himself into the dark and violent world of criminals and heroes who are far advanced to him, which include Big Daddy/Damon Macready played by Nicolas Cage, and eleven year-old daughter, Hit Girl/Mindy Macready played by Chloe Moretz. The rest of the cast include Mark Strong as Frank D’Amico, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Chris D’Amico / Red Mist, Lyndsy Fonseca as Katie Deauxma, and Yancy Butler as Angie D’Amico.
Expect more updates on Kick-Ass as a release date and trailer also finally make it our way.
