    The Judd Apatow comedy Funny People, starring Adam Sandler got off to an OK start in theaters this weekend leading the box office with $23.4 million in ticket sales. Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince earned the second spot with $17.7 million domestically, almost mirroring the The Order Of The Phoenix which grossed $292 million in US box office totals.

    The remaining top 10 included Disney’s 3-D guinea pig action G-Force with $17.1 million, Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler’s battle of the sexes The Ugly Truth earned $13 million, family adventure Aliens In The Attic $7.8 million, Orphan about a creepy orphan girl made $7.2 million, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs sequel-ed in $5.3 million, champion comedy The Hangover brought in another $5.1 million, The Proposal scraped up $4.8 million, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen held on to the 10 with $4.6 million doll hairs.
