The A-Team | First Official Look

So far we’ve seen a few on-set shots that have surfaced to the internet, but today we get the first polished look at the new rendition of The A-Team. This posed still is pretty cool if you ask this 31 year old fanboy.
From left to right we have Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, Quinton Jackson as Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus, Sharlto Copley as Capt. H.M. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, and finally Liam Neeson stepping into the shoes of the Special Forces team framed for a crime they didn’t commit.
I know I’m one of those people who constantly bitches and moans about all the remake/re-envisioning that Hollywood has been doing this decade, but looking at this I can’t help but get a speckle of anticipation. I mean look at the casting that was done here and the filmmakers who are involved (director Joe Carnahan, producers Tony Scott & Ridley Scott, and original TV show creators Jules Daly and Stephen J. Cannell).
Lets all hope that the spirit from the original team can be captured with a loss of the dated 80s campiness to add some modern day badassery.
The A-Team hits theaters on June 11, 2010.
