The main put off for me is the amount of computer animation in this movie, for me it was to farfetched. Other than that i would say this movie is worth a watch if you havn't read the book, if you have you will most definetaly leave dissapointed. My girlfriend did, she hated the movie. I haven't seen it, so I don't know how I feel, but I think Jackson has a better chance making movies that I will like less then his previous work, then making something I will like more.
