Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie follows none-other than Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim who have spent exactly one billion of the Schlaaang Corporation’s dollars to make the movie Diamond Dan (starring “Johnny Depp”) while wasting the bulk of the money on their own vanity. With their lives on the line they skip town to escape the wrath of Schlaaang President, Tommy Schlaaang (Robert Loggia). It just so happens that while searching for a way to pay the money back they answer an ad to take over the S’wallow Valley Mall for a billion dollars. But the S’wallow Valley Mall is actually a run down shell of a facility full of vagrants, bizarre stores, and a man-eating wolf that stalks the food court. Let the shrim begin.

I’m willing to wager a billion dollars that the very first time a human uttered the phrase – what the fuck? – that it was due to the handy work of Tim and Eric.

Trying to explain Tim and Eric to someone who has never witnessed their bizarre satirical world is extremely difficult to convey with just mere words. You also don’t just watch something created by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim…you experience it. Tim and Eric are not an acquired comedic taste. You either like them or you don’t; it’s a stance that won’t take very long to figure out. So how does a feature length dose of the T&E go down? Well that probably depends on your ability to handle their distinct flavor of humor. Tim and Eric’s randomness seems to have no end, and their mastery of deadpan is really something to marvel.

With Billion Dollar Movie, the comic duo bear a level of awkwardly disturbing, hysterical absurdities that reflect an eerie witticism of American culture. Until now, their talent exploits have only been seen in 15-minute block shows via Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) in the form of Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show Great Job! and Tom Goes to the Mayor, as well as countless viral videos on their website and online projects as seen on Funny Or Die. But now they’ve taken their unique quipster voices to 24 fps.

    Rating: 6/10

For a taste of their comic genius, here’s the pure GOLD they gave our pal Chase “Chason” Whale when he attempted to conduct a formal interview with them:

If you get that interview with them, you’d better lead with Tiny Hats. Or better yet, wear one yourself.
