I really do not know what to say about The Warped Forest other than it is truly warped and it does take place in and around a forest. There seems to be a reality and a dreamland, though we never really learn which is which. My guess is the reality is the place where the inhabitants spend their days sucking on green fruit (featuring multiple nipples to suck on and vaginal slits to lick). And let’s not forget the penis gun that shoots cum. Oh, and their currency (nuts, such as acorns) grows in people’s belly buttons. Did I mention the giants and the little people?
Yeah, that’s right folks. I couldn’t make this shit up, even if I was perpetually high on a cocktail of LSD, Ecstasy and opium. All I know is, The Warped Forest did not only warp my mind but it fucked my brain six ways to Sunday. So what kind of sick and twisted motherfucker (not that there is anything wrong with being sick, twisted or a motherfucker) would make a film like The Warped Forest? Shunichiro Miki — the crazy Japanese writer-director behind Funky Forest: The First Contact — that’s who. Well, the more appropriate question is who would actually watch this film? You?
